Description
Located in the Near West Side community, Park No. 578 is 2.03 acres and it offers patrons a new playground and water spray feature. This playground was completed in Summer 2016 as part of Mayor Emanuel鈥檚 Chicago Plays! program.

History
The Chicago Housing Authority and the 快播视频 worked to identify property for a park. The Chicago Housing Authority owned property at W. Maypole Avenue and Wolcott Avenue in the Near West Side Community Area. The Chicago Housing Authority transferred the property to the Park District in 2016 to create this park. The park was developed with a playground and walking paths.
