A permit or rental is required to guarantee use of an athletic facility for a set period of time. Without a permit or rental, facilities are available to the general public for first-come-first-serve use.
Indoor Activities
To book a facility inside a fieldhouse such as a gymnasium, call the fieldhouse directly for rental pricing and information.
Outdoor Activities
For outdoor athletic games, practices, & tournaments (regardless of size) that do not include any of the features listed below, a rental is required. Call the park fieldhouse directly for facility rental pricing and information.
Search for a Park
Outdoor athletic events which include any of the features listed below require a Special Event Permit:
- 50 or more people*
- Advertising or sponsorship activities
- Alcohol
- Amplified sound (e.g. loudspeakers, amplifiers, powered megaphones)
- Animals (e.g. petting zoo, pony rides, horses)
- Exercise classes or boot camps
- Flying Machine (e.g. drones)
- Generators
- Guaranteed Use of Space**
- Inflatables
- Selling and/or distributing merchandise, services or food (e.g. vendors)
- Stages/platforms
- Tents/canopies (e.g. 10x10 popup)
- Walk/Run/Bike or Parade Route
*For athletic games, practices, & tournaments (regardless of size) and gatherings of 49 people or less that do not include any of the features listed above, call the park fieldhouse directly for facility rental information. Click here to search for a park.

Outdoor boot camps, fitness classes, marathon training, and other recurring athletic training programs require a Special Event Permit – Athletic Training Level. These are non-exclusive permits valid for the calendar year. Each location requires a separate application.
