Park No. 519

Description

This small playground is 0.08 acres and it is located in the North Lawndale Community.   The park features a playground.   While there is no structured programming taking place at this location, we invite you to check out our great programs offered at nearby Douglass Park for recreation in the gym and fun in the outdoor pool and get in shape at the Fitness Center or enjoy a game of soccer on the artificial turf.

 

History

The ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ identified City-owned property located at 1944 S. St. Louis Avenue located in the North Lawndale Community Area for parkland.  The City transferred this property to the Park District in 2002 to create this park.  A playground was installed in Park No. 519.
