Indian Ridge Marsh Park (Park No. 565)
Park 565 comprises approximately 144 acres of marsh, wet prairie, and savanna habitat in the Calumet region. The park is split into a north and a south section with 122nd St. dividing them. Both sections have a parking lot and rustic trails. The trails provide fantastic views of the marshlands which provide important habitat for local wetland birds.

The City and the Park District have been working together creating natural areas in the Calumet region. The Park District entered into two agreements with the City of Chicago in 2015 and 2016 to lease over 143 acres of land for this park. This park is developed as a natural area and is located at 116th Street and Torrence Avenue in the South Deering Community Area.
