Before we head out on the water, we’ll make small clusters of clay and native seeds from River Park’s natural areas. As we paddle, we’ll toss them onto the riverbanks to give new plants a head start and encourage native plant growth. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and remember to bring water and sunscreen. All equipment is included in your registration fee. Basic instruction will be provided, beginners are encouraged to join! Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the program start time. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Based in River Park, the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ's RiverLab program is a series of educational events and activities dedicated to reconnecting residents of Chicago with their river.
