LIKE THE MOON ON WATER is a collectively composed suite of spoken word pieces married to modern jazz compositions--all presented with the goal of helping an audience reflect on the fact that that the lens through which we see the world often colors or distorts our surroundings. In this fourth innovative suite in four years from the 10-piece Marquette Park Composer's Workshop, we will all explore what it means to be affected by an event without it changing the way we see our lives--and what that means for how we move within and attempt to change the world.
