“¡ Hora de Cuentinflas?” is an hour of Spanish Immersive Dramatized Storytime and Songs, with a touch of Disability & Drag! Cuentinflas is here to entertain, educate, and delight Children and their families! Cuentinflas champions Disability justice, Queerness, Story Telling, and language learning through Cultural competency. When I speak about Culture, I am referring to my Mexican Heritage. Being a bilingual kid there were not a lot of mainstream stories available to us that accurately portrayed our culture, music, or language. Cuentinflas aims to fill the gap through bilingual storytelling, with Mariachi versions of songs that reconnect us to our roots.
