Cabrini Art House presents 70 Acres in Chicago, a twenty-years-in-the-making documentary that captures the rise, dismantling, and transformation of the Cabrini Green public housing development through powerful personal stories, history, and unflinching insight into race, class, and housing policy. Following the screening, Cabrini Art House founders Marques "Merk" Elliston and Dr. Cher'Don Reynolds will host a fireside chat reflecting on their experiences growing up in Cabrini and the ongoing realities of displacement, erasure, and gentrification.
