Online Registration for 快播视频's 2025 Fall Programs is Around the Corner

The 快播视频 opens online registration for fall programs on Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5. There is an extensive array of programs available for all ages and interests - from the after-school program, Park Kids, to sports and wellness activities.

The full list of fall programming is available on the Park District website at chicagoparkdistrict.com. The kick off to registration occurs over a two-day process depending on the location of the park, starting at 9 a.m. on August 4. Most programming runs from September 2 through December 7, 2025.

鈥淲e鈥檙e maintaining the summer momentum by connecting Chicagoans to fall season programs that will make their self-care and wellness goals achievable,鈥 said 快播视频 General Superintendent and CEO Carlos Ramirez-Rosa. 鈥淭his fall, we will offer a wide range of activities that will keep park patrons busy as ever.鈥

For athletes, there鈥檚 an opportunity to learn Badminton and Arts@Play classes encourage young people, ages 8 鈥 13, to explore their creativity through visual arts mediums such as collaging, drawing, painting, and sculpting. For the early childhood children, Garden Buddies is designed to spark the curiosity in toddlers and help them discover the world of different parks and gardens through the seasons.

Program Highlights

Aquatics Programs

Whether you are 16 months old or 90 years young, there is a 快播视频 aquatics program for you.  These classes include Parent and Tot Swim; Tiny Tot Swim; Youth, Teen, and Adult Learn to Swim; Swim Team; Water Polo; and Aquatic Exercise.

Lifeguard Explorers Training Program

In the Lifeguard Explorers Training Program, 快播视频 Aquatics staff will teach the required skills and provide supervised practice time needed to successfully pass the Lifeguard Skills Test. Passing the Lifeguard Skill test is a requirement to become a 快播视频 Lifeguard. Open to Chicago residents ages 15-22. Participants will receive $475 upon completion of the program.

Youth Learn to Swim First Session Free

The first session (10 weeks) of Learn to Swim classes for ages 6-17 is free, when using coupon code FIRSTFREE.  Every Chicago child can take this introductory swimming course once for free using the coupon code. After the coupon code is used, fees will apply for Learn to Swim classes in subsequent sessions, or an additional class in the same session.  The coupon code can be used when registering online or in-person at the parks. This program went into effect in Winter 2014. This fee can be waived for families who qualify.

Park Kids After-school Program

Park Kids is an excellent way for kids ages 6-12 to get out among friends & stay active after school through a variety of brain play, nature, fitness, sports, and art activities, along with homework time. Financial assistance is available, and fees are reduced for CHA residents.

Gymnastics

The 快播视频鈥檚 10 gymnastic centers offer quality instruction for beginners to advanced competitors year-round, with excellent training facilities and instructors.

Early Childhood (18 months 鈥 5 yrs. old)

From Arts & ABCs, Ballet and Bitty Basketball, to Dino Diggers, Kiddie College, and Little Artists you will find something special for your little one. For the younger ones, Parent/Guardian & Tot activities are available at many parks. While the majority of programs are in-person, we do offer a number of online/virtual programs for this age group including Kiddie College, and Arts & ABCs.

Youth (6-12 yrs. Old)

Looking to keep your kids active this season, sign them up for a park program!  The 快播视频 strives to connect youth with fun, creative and engaging programs in a safe environment. Classes include boxing; basketball; dance; woodcraft; cheerleading; a variety of fitness options and so much more.

Teens

A variety of programs are offered this season for teens, from basketball and cultural offerings to fitness classes and clubs. Register for one or more!

Adults/Seniors

A variety of classes are offered, from cultural activities to fitness and wellness, there is something for all interest types. If you're a fan of the fast-growing sport Pickleball, it's available at parks across the city, both instruction and open court times are available.

Special Recreation

Special Recreation programs are offered for individuals with disabilities. Participants will enjoy a variety of activities, from creating crafts, cooking, and fitness to visiting with friends in our social clubs.
