Celebrate the holidays at the conservatories by visiting one or both winter flowers shows
CHICAGO - Starting on Wednesday, November 27, both the Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave., and the Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 N. Stockton Dr. will open their 2024 Winter Flowers Shows. Both shows will close on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
At the Garfield Park Conservatory, guests can enjoy 鈥淪nowflakes,鈥 a winter flower show that puts the spotlight on nature in all its glory. Visitors can enjoy lush poinsettias in a colorful variety of mixed hues supplemented by winter flowers and plants, such as fragrant evergreens, Snowbush, Dusty Miller, and Peppermint. Enlarged photographs of magnified snow crystals will also hang and twirl above the floral display. These stunning images will ensure visitors will leave with a whole new appreciation of the beauty of snow.
鈥淐hampagne Toast,鈥 the 2024 Winter Flower Show at the Lincoln Park Conservatory will feature poinsettias in unique shades of apricot, gold and pink. Fresh cut fir trees will also adorn the room and hanging baskets of dichondra float like chandeliers.
