Four teams from the Midwest face off over two days for the championship
The 快播视频 and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab are hosting the 2025 Wheelchair Softball Junior World Series. The competition will feature four teams: the Nebraska Junior Barons, Kansas City Junior Royals, Lincolnway Special Recreation Association Junior Hawks, and the Chicago Junior Wheelchair Cubs.
Youth athletes with a primary physical disability will compete in the Wheelchair Softball Junior World Series. Four teams from the Midwest will compete against one another in a round-robin tournament-style competition on August 1st to determine seeding for the second day of play. The August 2nd date will feature a playoff bracket, skill competition, 3rd third-place game, and a championship game at California Park, 3843 N. California Ave.
The first day of competition takes place on August 1st from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The second day of play will be held on August 2nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Wheelchair Softball Junior World Series is a competition with a storied history, crowning 15 champions, and being held in Chicago three previous times. This year's competition is expected to draw around 200 athletes, staff, coaches, and spectators to California Park.
