Black History Month - Art After Dark - Community Quilt Night: Family Altars

This is an evening filled with tranquility, healing, and meditation through the art of quilting, as we pay tribute to those who continue to guide the living. Through our quilting practice we hope to honor loved ones who have passed in a tactical form of an altar, either with their favorite color, a drawing or even a photo of them sewn within the threads and fabrics. Fabric sqares and materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of a loved one to commemorate onto their quilt square.
