Come to the beach and stay to play in the Nature Play Space. You’ll stay safe from hot lava on the 110 log steppers that encircle the playground. Explore four hollow logs, build with sticks, and challenge yourself on the fully adjustable rolling linked logs! The native plantings will inspire throughout the seasons.



The purpose of the Park District's Nature Play Space Program is to reconnect children and families to nature by providing fun and valuable outdoor space for positive, hands-on nature experiences and to promote spontaneous free play by children, allowing them to immerse themselves in nature.
